Ragon mein Andhera is the classic trend setting long play which became the immediate hit after its release in 1983. Keeping in view the impact this created, a whole series with the name ‘Andhera Ujaala’ was telecasted for almost a year. After ending of Andhera Ujala, a serial on police force namely ‘Waqt’ was telecasted.

Lilly, I don’t have that but its remake version (telecasted first from PTV World & then Indus TV) starring Ateeqa Odho and Shafi Muhammad Shah is available in market. In remake version, they used beautiful OST in Sadaf Munir’s voice.

Yes, generally remakes are pathetic compared to original. Be it Kiran Kahani (*ing: Nadia jamil), Ik Nae Mod per (remake of Zer Zabar Pesh) or Ek Muhabbat sau afsane (although some plays in new version were quite reasonable including Labbaik Labbaik *ing: Sakaeel, Mah e Kan'aa *ing: Shagufta Ejaz & Maya Khan, Sanam gazeeda *ing: Saniya Saeed)
