The matter of the fact is MQM is an important stake holder of karachi, and for peace in the city who ever comes in power will have to take them along. I read an article in which ch nisar was asked about his statements regarding MQM and he clarified that its only till the elections. After the elections they will contact MQM for alliance, I don't see any problem with this if it brings peace to the city. PMLN supporters should be wary of raising this point over and over as most certainly it will come bite them in the future.
Alliance of 10 parties is in Sindh only. In punjab the alliance is with the cleanest religious party ASWJ.
i think ASWJ this year is not supporting PMLn, they are at odds because of Shaikh Waqas, probably PMLn granted ticket to his father against Maulana Ahmed Ludhiyanvi.
Noon League must be given credit for such a massively successful media maneuvering whereby it it sold the impression to everyone that the victory belongs to it. Shafqat Mahmood, on the other hand, was simply run over by Parvaiz Rashid in media management. You see Irfan Siddiquie and Ataul Haq Qasimi with their unwavering promotional campaign for Sharifs against Haroonur Rashid and Hasan Nisar's charge-sheet against their own camp. I did not see Irfan Siddiqui or Qasimi writing even one word against Sharif when it came to alloting tickets whereas the PTI camp of journalists has taken IK to task for every ticket granted. While it tells who is doing a paid job and who is not, it still shows that the PTI has not been able to set a credible media policy which is a huge setback for its election campaign.
Media is the most lethal opinion maker. If from tomorrow it starts to tell us that Sunni Tehrik will gain two-third majority in the election and will form the next government — and a survey or two are also issued to strengthen the propaganda — we will eventually start to cave in to it because our ability to form our opinion is now largely based on what media tells us — right or wrong.
so our Tsunamians started to accept that there is "camp" of journalists belonging to PTI just like any other party... noonies in this game are way ahead, as they have lots of money to fund their "camps" while PTI just started to enjoy "salaries" getting deposit to its fund recently (referring to that post in the other thread). difference is visible, your performance depends on your remuneration
