BTW what is the agenda of IK for Sindh (especially Karachi) bcoz he has always been portrayed as Anti-Karachi.

Anti-MQM doesn't mean anti-Karachi, I 've never come across his portrayal as anti-Karachi.

I agree that being Anti MQM is neither Anti Karachi or Anti- Muhajir, but that is what always being portrayed. If we agree that he is not Anti Karachi, then he never talked about Karachi's issues.

We Karachiites are afraid of any mishap (God forbid) and he is upset as on a Jalsa day ppl avoid leaving homes due to traffic jams also.

I agree that being Anti MQM is neither Anti Karachi or Anti- Muhajir, but that is what always being portrayed. If we agree that he is not Anti Karachi, then he never talked about Karachi's issues.
If he think Karachi is 'ir-relevant' then he wouldn't have wanted to come to Karachi in past and he wouldn't want to hold jalsa here, he took on MQM for a reason and filed cases against the chief in London (regardless of whether it was successful or not).

It goes back to before MQM, when he was the captain of the cricket team and mistreated players from Karachi (Iqbal Qasim, Shoaib Mohammad, Qasim Omar, Saeed Anwar etc.). He even criticized the Karachi crowd at times.

Anyways, we are talking about politics and in politics I have not come across anything 'anti-Karachi' from him.

Agree. There has not been anything "pro-Karachi" either. All his social work is focused up north. It would have been better if he had positioned himself anti-Altaf rather than anti-MQM. His attempts to get friendly with Afaq Ahmad who is as bad as Altaf Hussain if not wrose can be termed anti-Karachi. Propping Afaq to counter Altaf will only result in bloodshed in Karachi.

Given that fact that Imran Khan is making PML(N) feel uneasy in Punjab, I'd not be surprised if IK's Karachi jasla has backstage or khamosh support from PPP & MQM.

I chalk it up to his political immaturity and akhrotness. I bring the later in because many politically immature people learn fast to become good leaders, but Imran somehow is lacking in that area.
PS So Imran had a bias against miandad because he was a star in himself? I think part of it also has been the inbred north pakistan (punjabi pathan) rivalry against karachi that has gone on since 1947.

He also can't be seen as concerning too much with the issues of karachi, as that still causes heart burn in some inbred racists up north. I think Imran wants to win punjab first (like nawaz sharif), before he decides to get in the karachi turf wars with PPP, ANP, and MQM (mainly). As of now, he stands no chance in interior sindh for obvious reasons so punjab and nwfp is the obvious choice.
