Problem is people who supported drone attacks could not comprehend that there is a difference in drone attack versus eliminating Taliban/TTP, they think its the same.
well one more point...for years there was a narrative led by Imran and JI and other apoligists that drone attacks lead to frustration and revengeful feelings which lead to suicide attacks in the country. That narrative has been categorically proved wrong as USA stopped drone attacks for almost 6 months (not even a single drone attack happebed) when we were negotiating with these animals and there were still so many of suicide attacks and barbaric killings

True that ... but do you believe that "the pause" in drone attacks was actually "the end" of drone attacks? NO, right? So why would that stop recruitment of TTP in that context?
fair point Asif…as islam says that all Innamal a’malu binniyatand these tweets present a very clear message from Imran. He has condemned TTP and we shd accept it.
I guess the issue is when some PTI fans try to defend his past stand on terrorism by spinning it. Imran was very clear and firm on his stand and there is no ambiguity about it and had his stand worked, he would have received full credit for it. not that it does not work, he will get some discredit as well.

i cannot comment on TTP strategy or mindset...but they could have shown some gooodwill when drone attacks stopped (even if they were stopped temporarily).
You are right. PTi supporters have very selective memories. These days they are being very quiet about the **FACT **that TTP nominated Imran to be their negotiator with the govt.
WHY? Because he clearly has sympathies and sides with Taliban.
He had no choice but to condemn the TTP latest attack - somthing he has always been hesitant to do.
