I have spoken to a few photographers but didnt feel settled with any to be honest.

I have chosen to go with Hina. Shes expensive but shes an angel. I really warmed to her.

Has anybody used her services before? Please let me know you experience.

@ distinctiveflair - I rang hina to find out pricing, and she seemed really arrogant and rude! I joked that her prices were costing me more than my venue and she got really defensive, saying her albums are imported from Australia or something!

As for female photographer, I had Rima Darwash, but she takes really off the cuff poses ie she’ll take a pic when your not looking! (met her at the asiana wedding exhibition and because I booked her I got a complimentary DVD slideshow of a selection of my wedding pics, which she no longer does!)

Since my wedding (July 2010) her prices have increased by £600! Album prices are not inclusive, you have to buy them seperately (but I think thats with everyone!). She’s based in Leeds, but she travels but that will cost you!

I don’t know which guppans mentioned fusion but I went to their offices and checked out some weddings they had shot, and I wasn’t blown away. Their work wasn’t contemporaray, I was only drawn to them because they had female photographers since my mehndi was segregated.

In the end I went for Rima Darwash and Epic media videography, and guys when I tell you that Epic Media are AMAZING, they truely are. My only regret is that I wish I had used Epic for my photography aswell, because things just flow much nicely when you have someone from the same company working on your wedding. They take up to 6 months to make the wedding film but it’s worth it. Also, they do have female photographers/videographers but I think she only works weekends, something like that! Really humble and down to earth guys.

Also have any of your girlies been to any of the wedding exhibitions? Its worth going , I know Epic Media have a stand there and they will be giving out special offers for your Big Day and other goodies!

I’m getting married next year and I was actually thinking of booking Rima she quoted me’ £2500 for two days as a full package but I didn’t know she was based in Leeds. I’m going to the Asiana bridal exhibition in London this weekend and hope to have a chat with other photographers.

I was also thinking of booking epic media for the videography as they seem cheaper than Stormfield, Shaadi videography who charge £5000 for one day!
However I don’t really like the epic media photography. :frowning:

I was thinking of kumi beenon but she’s so bad at getting in contact and still hasn’t replied to my 3 messages!

How much did epic media charge you?
