Re: Pretty little messages from india
I think he is responding to the ambiguous title of the thread which skips over the minute of silence and candlelight vigils in India and repeats demands India has had for a long time to show that the response by Indians overall has been callous. OP is also interestingly silent on vigils happening in Saudi Arabia, China, Middle East organised by non-Pakistani locals like in West and in India. Indians in West also organised vigils for victims of Peshawar. https://www.facebook.com/events/1528128117473390/ Or offers of support by Saudi Arabians on twitter resulting in a trend similar to #IndiaWithPakistanis](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=IndiaWithPakistanis) which trended worldwide. Or offers of wanting to donate blood for the victims from that side of the world.
Maybe a 2 min silence in Saudi schools? Most people in Pakistan don’t take Hafiz Saeed seriously either.
I don’t think indians responded similarly to Belgian massacre where children died. In this case we feel connection to Pakistan due to similarity in culture, way of life and proximity.
While the whole world condemned and sent condolences for the victims in Peshawar..![]()
Indians did that but also wept for our Pakistani brothers and sisters as can be seen by many touching tweets and messages.
People can talk proxy wars on either side or whatever but does that give right for someone on national tv to threaten attacks in time like this and in background of such solidarity. Does Hafiz Saeed really want to attack Indians peacefully praying for their neighbours? I am not denying political reality of both countries but these unsubstantiated claims are damaging. No comment on the Arabic speaking Taliban terrorists that children reported on. Or the fact that TTP have claimed the attack.
What about these Pakistani Christians in Pakistan who held vigil for the victims on Tuesday and the Pakistani Hindus holding vigil on 19th December? Does Hafiz Saeed,JeI and Mubashir Luqman etc think of how their careless accusations can affect these people? When some ignorant and illiterate person thinks of Pakistani Christians as extensions of US/West and Pakistani Hindus as extensions of India.

Pakistani Hindus holding vigil on 19th december

It has happened in past when someone in the west did some despicable act in past Pakistani Christians have been unfairly targeted. Church ablaze as cartoon protests continue across globe | World news | The Guardian In light of this what right does JeI and others have of making baseless accusations against foreign powers in West and elsewhere and holding them responsible for this incident when TTP have claimed responsibility. Not only that but they’ve also released photos of monsters who have carried this out.
I am guessing the statement against Hafiz is linked to his words on national TV saying he would attack India as reported. If true, why would you do that in the middle of this tragedy and in background of such outpouring of support which you mock.
Also please protest the sydney morning herald , a western paper, for saying the following Dozens of students killed in Pakistani Taliban attack on Peshawar school
Taliban spokesman Muhammad Umar Khorasani told Reuters his group was responsible for the attack.
“Our suicide bombers have entered the school, they have instructions not to harm the children, but to target the army personnel,” he said.
“It’s a revenge attack for the army offensive in North Waziristan,” he said, referring to the anti-Taliban military offensive that began in June.
The gunmen, who several students said communicated with each other in a foreign language, managed to slip past the school’s security because they were wearing Pakistani military uniforms, local media reported.
Maybe Hafiz Saeed and co can answer that question and accuse these western newspapers as well. Why not question the motives of the Taliban carrying an attack in response to the offensive? How can some foreign agencies acquire Pakistani military uniforms so accurate to pass security at an army school? maybe Hafiz Saeed can admit for once it is the Taliban who carried this out not an evil nexus of west and india. As for taliban backtracking why would you attack a school and not expect students to get injured not army personnel. I’ve not heard any Pakistani army or government spokesperson blame India but apparently hafiz Saeed and Zaid Hamid know better? Enough to be spokespeople on TV.
