I just pray we last a full 5 years at the helm of things. A proper democracy requires stability in government institutions and structures. As long as we have a full 5 year term and a pretty decent voter turnout (at least 50%) we should be good. And we continue in such a manner it should provide some form of stability.

True, and in fairness to PPP/Zardari they haven’t gone after opposition on cooked up cases like what BB and NS were doing in 1990s. Also, when Mushrraf left the country was in pretty bad shape. For most, if nothing else, they have “stabilized” things, that is especially true for beating back TTP, passing 18/19 Amendments, and NFCs just to name few.
