Contrary to what people might think of him, he was apparently a really good athlete. He was the centre on offence for his University of Michigan and even won the team's MVP title. For people who even remotly follow college football, you would know that being the MVP for the Wolverines, one of the most storied organization in NCAA, would be a pretty big deal. He got contract offers from NFL teams but turned them down to attend law school. He was also a very avid skiier and an extremely good golfer to boot. Too bad people will always remember him as a klutz though.
