Thanks for ideas so far everyone! she is 15 years old, very studious, plays tennis, likes music (but I have no idea what groups / bands they are)....ipod sounds like a good possibility...one other potential is a book gift card which I know she'd love (she has a collection of over 500 books!) but I thought everyone keeps getting her more and more books, so may be I should get something else
