That is not essentially true for everyone. My kids are 4 and a half years apart and my son was a big help with the baby and they are close. My friend who had 2 kids a year and half apart however faced a different situation, the toddler was very jealous towards the baby and kept hitting her. My take on this is, everyone is different and there are pros and cons of every situation. To the original poster, best of luck. Just focus on your health and babies. Everything shall be fine Insha Allah. After all there are people who have twins as well.
