Basically, it’s about faith, and acting according to faith. Who goes to what eternal abode is not for me to speculate, though I hope we all get saved from Hellfire. As for the attributes of Mahdi (a.s.), there are numerous hadiths available on the subject that can be sought very easily.
Don’t be so hopeless, Allah has spread 1% of His mercy within creation, and kept the 99% for the day of Judgement. Think of the most kind person, the most kind of acts anyone has ever done for anyone, and then consider that it’s a fraction of the 1%. Then imagine the 99% that awaits the hopeful, and fearful. Even a mustard seed’s worth of faith may become source of salvation that day if Allah wills.
