avoid buying any thing above 100,000 miles
Check engine for any oil leaks
listen to engine sound for any weird noise (should sound smooth, no tick tick noises in between)
test drive to feel the suspension
test drive to feel the gear box (shouldnt jerk while changing gears "Auto")
exhaust smoke shouldnt have any colors (black/white)*
should have full service history
** in winter exhaust smoke is always white when u start the engine fresh which is normal
** donot, DONOT buy any car with high odometer readings or else u ll be buying some else's problem*
