I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and regards. Needless to say that it has been very difficult time for me and my family. As a child, no matter what your age, you never really think about these things, however, this is something that is bound to happen to all of us. The ayath in my signature is what my father quoted to me when he called me after my mother's death. I continue to be amazed by his faith and reliance on Allah. Of course he is deeply hurt and the sorrow he feels cannot be expressed in words, but he continues to remind us (my sisters and I) that it is all Allah's will and one must agree and ask for patience from Him.
I wanted to say a special thank you to Kamal and his sister for helping me through this tough time. Kamal, I cannot express my gratitude enough for your sister. She took time out of he busy schedule to not only speak with the doctor in Pakistan, but, took time to explain the situation to me. Please do thank her on my behalf.
I request that all of you keep my mother in your prayers for maghfirat and may Allah forgive all of her sins and grant her Jannah. Ameen.
