PPP wins Gilgit election; MQM wins 1 Gilgit seat, PTI fails again

There you go bros…

World record of rigging established in Gilgit elections - Iqbal Haider

Re: PPP wins Gilgit election; MQM wins 1 Gilgit seat, PTI fails again

^ very interesting Lusi. Uploaded by MQM Television, and criticized by Iqbal Haider, who I believe used to be in PPP (if Im not mistaken)

I think the problem lies within PTI itself... I have not heard, seen a single PTI person other than Imran Khan.. yes Golden Asif is his supporter.. but that won't him them a seat.. i'll not be surprised if Imran's Party does not win a seat in any other election...

Re: PPP wins Gilgit election; MQM wins 1 Gilgit seat, PTI fails again

Ravage, I never accused MQM, all I said was that the kind of corrupt political system we have it is quite impossible for imran khan to have a non corrupt party and win pretty much anywhere in Pakistan.

Re: PPP wins Gilgit election; MQM wins 1 Gilgit seat, PTI fails again

no i meant it from consider the source perspective, it strengthens the argument if the criticism isnt from an expected source (a party that didnt perform well, an HRCP chairman who's political past was with PML-N)

i wouldnt say though that its impossible to win pretty much anywhere. elections in nwfp and parts of punjab and sindh are pretty clean by my observation and often throw up unexpected results. rigging is usually on few tight seats.

PTI did not campaign in this small election, due to Imran Khan's illness

Nobody will remember these elections in a years time

If Pakistan does not elect the only honest politcian we have, that is truly a loss for our whole country

Not that i disagree with you nor does i have any doubts in mind about NS, AZ, AH and other so-called political leaders of Pakistan, I still maintain that the victory will not fall in the hands of Imran Khan... he have to be more active, currently it is like he has only two working days in Politics, rest of the days he take care of other thing...

During different talk shows and other campaigns, I have not seen PTI leadership all I see is Imran Khan all over the place, this is not good for the party, you yourself said that Imran was ill, what if he fell ill in the main elections?

PTI need to be re-organized and they need some media exposure as well, not any tom, dick and hary can win Imran a sit and it would not be of any good if Imran is in the assembly with one of two seats... He need to bring sincere and capable people in front, his charisma will only be effective if he can have some local influence as well...

Optimistically speaking, he have another 3+ years to do this...

LOL world record of rigging in Gilgit Election

I dont belevie him, either any politcian, any news from Pakistan
a bundle of lies in every field

I know quite a few NA peoples who have voted MQM in the past in Karachi even Sunni's. The MQM obviously have worked with some minorities in Karachi. Which area have they won the seat from? Hunza is Shia-Ismaili, Skardu and Baltistan is predominantly Shia, Gilgit is Shia-Sunni, Diamer is more Sunni.

There is no such thing as a Shia vote as Shia's vote for all parties.

I wonder if the MQM's non sectarian policy in Karachi been a great word of mouth for the heavily mixed NA's?

Maybe its more likely the candidate was a well respected one and whoever he stood for would get in?

Re: PPP wins Gilgit election; MQM wins 1 Gilgit seat, PTI fails again

One reason why MQM won seat there could be that there is total absence of militant parties and organizations, and madressahs there. So under discussion were people's economic problems, instead of Islam/Amreeka/Yahood/India/etc.

And since MQM has shown its worth by appointing a mayor who transformed Karachi's landscape, people of Gilgit are hoping that MQM will seek to improve their lives with similar zeal.

MQM won the seat from Skardu-6 which doesn't have presence of Ismaili community. However, the Ismaili community is mostly present in Hunza (Gilgit-6) and Ghizer (Yasin area) which were won by PPP.

Karachi has seen significant imporvements but only in certain areas. Some of the improvements of Karachi might be because of Amanullah Khan the JI guy, not sure about that exactlky.

Your post implies that the MQM would solve their problems and that they are nota party of harted. The MQM do not bother about Amreka/Yahu/india but see the enemy as pakhtun migrants.

I did not say that. I said people there HOPE that MQM will solve their problems.

Your thoughts about Naimatullah responsible for recent development are a joke.

Yes honesty is a big requirement if things have to change in our country, but it is not the only one. IK party is a single man party without an ideology. Whatever Mr. IK says is the policy of the party. IK does not inspire the people when he defends the enemies of Pakistan on one pretext or another. When they do these suicide killings of innocent Pakistanis, instead of condemning these extremist, he starts comdemning America. We have never heard him sympathising or raising funds for innocent victims of these terrorist activities. We never heard him condemning these terrorist and killers of innocent Pakistanis. He never showed any soldarity with our armed forces who are sacrificing so much fighting against these animals.

In over a decade of his political career you cannot see one single person other than his ownself from the party who is recognised by the people. So if he is ill the entire election campaign collapsed. Tomorrow if he is elected, the whole country will collapse if he falls ill???? What kind of a leader is he???

Jinnah was not a feudal, why do you think people rallied behind him and Mr. IK has no electoral success?

Re: PPP wins Gilgit election; MQM wins 1 Gilgit seat, PTI fails again

MQM's non sectarian policy...what a joke!

We can say there is a hope when they get rid of their pir who never let them look at the other side of the picture. No matter what, he will always find a way to increase the gap rather bridging the differences.
