How do you know she disrespected him because of his skin color and not for another reason? Did the wife directly tell you this information OR is this an assumption?

Again, how do you know that the lack of attraction, fire/sparkle is directly because of skin color? Maybe the guy is overweight or too skinny. Maybe he’s too hairy. Maybe the wife is not satisfied sexually. Maybe the couple found out after marriage that their personalities are not compatible. Maybe there is tension/arguments between the couple about others stuff which caused them to emotionally drift apart. The list is endless. So I ask again, how can you be so sure that all these relationships lack respect, fire/sparkle because the man’s skin color is dark?

I know the family history the man pursued the lady quite tenaciously, he should really have moved on after the luke warm reception. I am using complexion as an example. All I m saying that guys should not chase girls for marriage if they are not into you. Regarding complexions pleas spare me the naivety by insinuating that desis do not give undue significance to complexion. I know two sisters and the fairer girl with colored eyes gets 2 rishtas a week and not so much for darker ones. I have even seen desi parents favoring the gora bachha..lol

I had a long relationship with someone who had pursued me but was insistent that I change my belief and the sparkle and fire wasn’t there, then I met someone who liked me for who I am. You can see the chemistry and sparks from space if that is what is there, they way they look at each other, the tone of voice, the gestures and caring they show to each other. This Pakistani guy used to address his wife in a worse tone of voice than a master calls a dog, there definitely was no chemistry there…lol
