Gimme a break!..

The software, although in early stages, has been tested on all versions of windows. If it doesnt work for you, tinkering with your settings like version of VM etc might help. Those who can listen and not record most probably have incomplete/damaged installation, as both recoder and player are in the same package. You need to:

Uninstall the applet
Close browser
Clear temp files
Close browser again
Restart PC/Log out and log in again
Then come to the forum and click on a speaker to listen. Its easier to install from the player.

If you have done all that, then I dont know. The Installation size for FreedomAudio in Tools|Internet Options|General|Settings|View Objects
needs to be 696KB.

696 KB  I am guessing you have a damaged installation.

The installer does seem to be giving problems. It’ll be fixed.

Okay I should have changed the synthax I meant: It’s 692KB???

Okay let me re-install and then restart. Thanks.

DONE with my nervs!

Did the steps you mentioned before re-installing now it wont even re-install. Every time I want to install it while installation my Browser crashes. :-(

does freedomaudio show up in objects now?

Have you deleted the Temp Files?

hmm...no..

Try installing it with minimum load on yer PC, meaning close everything else.

I think the installer needs to be fixed.

Okay I got the trouble shooting source but don't have the solution for it.
Its NETCAPTOR making the probs. With IE 6.0 SP 1 its working fine and even the object is showen as "installed" but when I go into my NETCAPTOR it shows "corrupted/damaged" kinda strange isn't it??

Why that? Since NETCAPTOR is just a skinned vers. of IE?

what the heck is NetCaptor?

The software works fine on out of the box IE. Your NetCaptor might have some different setting which is conflicting...but I wouldnt know.

NetCaptor is the most powerful web browser on the planet! Other browsers only show one page at a time or squish them together in an overlapping mess. NetCaptor gives each web site its own tab!

I second that.

But since I'm having my first ever prob with it (that applet prob.) I don't know what to do :(

Well yeah it seems somethings making the things worse...Par I need to solve that.
Well I guess I gotta do it by my own since you aren't familiar to NetCap.
But thanks a lot for your help appreciate that very much. :)

One thing more is there a need to activate the Java-Console? I guess no, am I right?

Sir ji .. neither I can hear nor I can record :~( this thing is not working with me :crying:

its giving me a msg box :

“Freedomaudio require a newer version of Java” with two options “Update” and “Cancel” but when I click Update it brings the same window again :frowning: and on second try .. it brings another window with “Java null pointer” error :frowning:

ahem ahem .. btw, who—me ji does this software work for those who are sitting behind a firewall ???

if not!!! than is there any software available to run these freedomaudio “wav” files ??? which can be installed locally ??

cuz this way atleast I cud listen the guppi messages :~)

thanks naas ... good point .. the software wont run behind a firewall .. i am working hard to bring you the ability to download and play with your fav player .. stay tuned on that ..
