Was just browsing through this thread and M, i gotta say, your collection is AWESOME! I have lots and lots of makeup but just use basics, and pretty much all my eye shades are going to waste
I have never used red lipstick (and am not even sure whether I can pull it off cuz im pretty fair and the last time i applied it hubby said i looked like one of those shady women on the streets but am looking for a good, warm shade of red/maroon…any suggestions? Ive seen MAC carrying loads but some names/numbers would be really helpful so i can go check them out…much appreciated!
Can some of you lovely girls please recommend some makeup brushes, especially for foundation (liquid), blushes, powder. They should be of good quality, but not overly pricey.
M_was_here: How are you liking the Guerline Kajals? Especially the black colored? Is it worth it?
IMO, they are no better than regular powder surma which you can get from Pakistan. The only difference is that these are colored (I have a blue, brown and bronze) and have shimmer so they look beautiful on the waterline. I intentionally didn't get a matte black simply because I can get that from anywhere. But lasting power and the fallout during application is just the same as any other type of surma.
Just recently bought Nars Laguna bronzer, Mac gingerly blush, MAC lipsticks - twig, half n half, syrup and creme in your coffee
I feel a million dollars wearing syrup.. its my new fave

I have tried lots of foundation and face powder i.e. Dior, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Clinique, l’Oréal.. but I didn’t like them but once I’ve started using Mac..I was satisfied!!and I’m still satisfied with it… great prep, foudnation and face powder!l’Oreal’s facepower is okay for a daily use.. well it all depends on the skin..I’ve got a soft but dry skin..
I’m a bit of a collector of MAC items. I say collector as I’ve noticed that I’ve had a tendency to jump on the bandwagon and buy a couple of items whenever a new collection comes out without really thinking about whether I’ll use something enough to justify buying it. I mean, I’d never buy something that I know I wouldn’t use but I have noticed that I had loads of items that have only been used once or twice.
