Aw Panache don’t let that hinder you from posting the pic! I also wear really simple clothes on eid because we have a huge brunch continuing into dinner at ours after Eid prayers, which means I have to be prepared for making frantic rushes in and out of the kitchen lol. So sadly, even though i love me some bling, it just doesnt happen. I wear a pretty printer churidaar or something with a nice neckline and lots of chooriyan, pretty earrings and tonnes of slap as half of it wears off BEFORE the guests actually arrive
I got it made from India, cos one of my best friends is Indian and she has a tailor there who has made her clothes for YEEAARRS so we get a good deal. It was meant to be this design:
But I made a lot of changes to the original design and the overall look ended up a little different.
The joke of it is that I’m not even wearing this for Eid anymore, I bought two new outfits in the past few weeks for functions etc so I’m wearing one of them
I couldn’t wear the dress i wanted because my sister in law, who has the same, wore it even though i told her the day before it was my only new dress and she had so many other prettier and new ones, oh well…
so i had to wear an old one which is quite simple (not even a party dress) :
Also wanted to share this nail polish i wore today, i love it !
I loved my Eid clothes that I wore today. Really long, A line, dark green, velvet kameez with grey sleeves, duputta and trousers. The kameez had 2 large silver paisley motifs embroided on each side.
like many other members, my eid dress was quite simple as well. it was black chiffon wid gold patch on the bottom and the sleeves. the dress had some emroidered flowers n pearls on it as well.
the pic is not the best one, but so far, thats wat i’ve got
