i've noticed that bridal jewellery is getting lighter and lighter... girls aren't wearing big pieces or multiple sets now.

I think big sets look great, especially on a bride..tiny sets just look weird. If cost is the issue, then yu can always get an artifical set, the ones that are of really great quality won't look fake at all, noon can tell :)

Im leaning more towards smaller sets too nowadays. I think they look nice and tidy.

its true- i mean, how many more times in your life will you be able to wear a nice appropriately big set? im wearing my moms guluband- its basically an emerald and pearl choker and the gold its set on isn't a solid band, it looks like its been carved with a really pretty, delicate design. i think its called "jaal ka kaam". and then the earrings are chandelier style and quite big as well.

i think wearing your mum's jewellery is such a nice touch... its very sentimental. of course, after i wear it, i'm keeping it too! :p

subtle makeup is for everyday. i think a bride should look like a bride and go all out with makeup on her wedding day. you are never going to have the oppportunity to look so glamorous again!

mashallah, sara516 looks stunning! makeup and clothes look good together. that pink looks so pretty and would only ever look that good on a fair girl!!! my sister is fair and wore pink too, it looks so lovely!! as a darkie i'm not quite sure what i'll be wearing!!!!!
