Re: Post a picture of your phone!
I have to admit that looks pretty cool! How do you like JB? What can you do with it that you couldn’t in ICS?

Re: Post a picture of your phone!
Well I just don’t feel like wasting money on a new one, when this one works fine. I can make calls, send texts, what more does a man want. It has a torch too ![]()

Re: Post a picture of your phone!
:(
It's for when KESC takes away our electricity.
Re: Post a picture of your phone!
Hmmn. I like the idea of resizable widgets and icons and such.
And there really is a Key Lime Pie coming (and I thought that was a joke!)
Maybe I’ll just keep to ICS till KLP is available. Did you have to pay for the upgrade to JB?
Re: Post a picture of your phone!

Nope. You do it yourself. There are about 4-5 ROM's that have JB.
Re: Post a picture of your phone!
Ummm...what's a ROM?
Re: Post a picture of your phone!
Custom ROMs
A stock ROM is the version of the phone’s operating system that comes with your phone when you buy it.
A custom ROM is a fully standalone version of the OS, including the kernel (which makes everything run), apps, services, etc - everything you need to operate the device, except it’s customized by someone in some way.
So what does the “customized” part mean? Since Android is open source, developers are free to take stock ROMs, modify them, strip them of garbage, optimize them, add things, and pretty much do whatever their imagination and skills allow.

Re: Post a picture of your phone!
Nice, CM10 works really well with the big screen. You could increase the density, i have 5 x 5 icons on my S3. On the note you should able to go atleast 6 x 6.

Nice you are here..I have a question...:)
I want to install custom rom but before that i want to know how can i revert back to stock rom?
just flashing ftf file using flashtool will be enough?
Re: Post a picture of your phone!
But is it due to fear of infamous mobile chors of karachi?
Re: Post a picture of your phone!
No, no. You need the exact ROM for your phone. Just flashing a Tmobile Galaxy S3 with a Sprint S3 can get you a whole bundle of no-fun, and instead or ROTFL you’d be SOTCVS (sitting on the chair, very sad

Re: Post a picture of your phone!
i have ftf file for my particular device.I downgraded to gb then again upgraded to ICS using flashtool…
but my question is “the procedure for upgrading to ICS from GB using flashtool and reverting from custom rom to stock rom are same?i.e.just flashing ftf file using flashtool?”
while when installing custom rom first i must flash kernel then install zip files of custom rom and gapps using CWM right
