i have ftf file for my particular device.I downgraded to gb then again upgraded to ICS using flashtool…
but my question is “the procedure for upgrading to ICS from GB using flashtool and reverting from custom rom to stock rom are same?i.e.just flashing ftf file using flashtool?”

while when installing custom rom first i must flash kernel then install zip files of custom rom and gapps using CWM right

I think going back to stock you will have to use ODIN for that…that what I did when I had to go back to ICS on my phone and had soft bricked it.
