Thanks and I am happy for you - however he isnt some guy i met over the net, he is my cousin.... we just communicate occasionally through messenger, but usually telephone - its more personal on the phone.
It is very much possible to develop feelings for someone over the net, some of my very good friends are those I met on the internet:).

Yes, I got that, I mentioned my online friendships to show that entirely new relationships can also generate out of communication on the internet, and in your case, a real life connection existed prior to internet connection, and yeah, now I remember, when I was in the university, I had a class fellow with whom I never had any real long chat in real life as we had different groups of friends, but when we started chatting, we discovered we had a lot in common, and we became really good friends.:)

You remind me of myself bunnyhoney. I was in the EXACT same situation a couple of years back (only difference- I was in US and he was in Europe) and we had also met in Pakistan prior to the engagement. I also felt that it was weird falling in love over the phone and internet but it happened and now we are very very happily married. Best of luck to both of you!
