Re: Poor Grammar

 . (stops kissing)
Honeybun, how many times have I told you that the “?” should be placed before the ". As far as the “period” after the kiss goes, please refer to funguy’s post. If only you had treated this whole issue regarding grammar as water under the bridge, then may be you would have known and felt the warm, sensual kiss that I was planting until this post.

Re: Poor Grammar

dope, please go change.

Re: Poor Grammar

Anwar Qureshi....What does it Mean please(this Champa thing)

Re: Poor Grammar

The word champa has several meanings in urdu.

Champa alone in coloquial form of urdu in Karachi is refered to as “FOOT” .. like saying someone “aik champaa paRay gaa naa abhi”

on the other hand, a little change in the pronounciation of the same word can totally change the meaning to a bimbo or a stupid person like saying “Champooo” or as we say in karachi “Champ-ud-Daula”

However, Champaa in this sentence is a FLower. :flower1:

Re: Poor Grammar

Lazy D: It's a cornish way of addressing a female...was used extensively in pre-80 era urdu films. Usually a villain would tease a heroine to get her attention. But rest assured, it is not a gaali.

You called me a mushroom, and this is as close as I could get botanically.

AQ: thanks for the informative post on Champaa. I didn't know it was used for foot.

Re: Poor Grammar

Anwaar Qureshi I like you...you are a charming man
if funguy was being genuinly nice he is a nice pleasant mushroom...like a morell

Re: Poor Grammar

Sweetness, our story begins with grammar. Will it not end with grammar? I was under the impression that our love for grammatical correctness would bind our love for each other together for a lifetime. You wish to end it here? Will my first GupShup love be unrequited due to a few inaccuracies regarding the policital correctness of my grammatical correctness?

:frowning:

Re: Poor Grammar

LOL, he meant, “sar chakra raha hai”

Re: Poor Grammar

missy some of us are married to freshies - and we dont like it, so by you saying this we identify with areas of personal insecurity - thus venting in your thread our journals and feeling entirely guilty about being so bloody pompous!!!

: phew-hadtogetthatout:

Just as an additional post it - rather a gramatically correct British Bitch witha sense of humour and personality to boot - then a rebel wannabe whos past it.

Amen to sadi in that other thread.

Re: Poor Grammar

But the correct idiom in urdu is Mera Sar Chakar khaa rahaa hai :grumpy:

Please, do not take out the dead body of the urdu (Urdu ka Janazah naheeN nikaalo) :mad2:

Re: Poor Grammar

Hey…That’s not Champa and it’s not administered by foot…It’s “Chamba”…

Like Makranis say, Chamba laga day ga…Similar to Chamaatt, Rapairh or Raipatt…
