My personal opinion is that Sachin should’ve retired (from the ODIs) right after the World cup. But it w’d also be wrong to point out Sachin alone in the ongoing tri-series in Australia. The rest (apart from Dhoni and Gambhir) have n’t exactly covered themselves in glory

Sehwag - avg 10
Rohit Sharma - avg 15
Raina - avg 20.03

With Ponting it was different, he was failing while everyone-else around him was performing.

Agreed. On current form, I don’t see 6-7 batsmen who are playing better than him so he should stay. I agree about Gambhir, but Dhoni’s pretty erratic - 10-15 bad innings followed by 1 good one.
