I went to Pakistan this summer and that's the first thing that we noticed....Well, my memory was a hazy but my mom felt that it was much dirtier than before, with heaps of garbage in the streets not far from houses and stores. The thing I noticed was that there seemed to be more stray dogs than I have ever seen in all the years I've visited.
