Politics of Sindh

Re: Politics of Sindh

One thing I dont understand how can one go on with discussions if criticizing PPP has to translate to anti Sindh. Most of us are not from Sindh, hence we dont really know the political dynamics there.

One thing that we can see is that in Interior Sindh and Rural Punjab the landowners are strong and thats where PPP gets its strength from. They have lost support from Urban areas of Punjab and Sindh. In 1988, in Lahore PPP won six out of nine seats, now they have become history there. How can this phenomena be explained?

Re: Politics of Sindh

This Sindh card politics should end now

PPP should stop playing with sindh

Re: Politics of Sindh

PPP has never used Sindh card, it can not because it is still a true national party. Many years other people not even elected by people of rural Sindh had also ruled the Sindh. This is brain child of people who hate Sindhis.

Re: Politics of Sindh

All Sindhis are vadairas? thats a news to me. Vadaira is not used as an insult to Sindhis.

Re: Politics of Sindh

Yes, it is when you use in sarcastic or derogatory manner insulting the whole community. The guy used that word because he knows that people of Sindh particularly from rural/backward areas, will not vote for PTI as there is no intention of IK or his PTI to win any seat from there.

Re: Politics of Sindh

If PPP is national party doesnt mean they have the right to do anything to Pakistan........or does he have it?

Re: Politics of Sindh

Agreed. It should be applicable to all who are living and prospering in Pakistan, not just PPP.

Re: Politics of Sindh

^ This is called the Sindh Card.

Is it unconstittional for a non-Sindhi party to rule Sindh? As far as politics is concerned, no street or corner of the country is an exclusive and personal property of anyone.
