Were political views ever a point of discussion prior to marriage for you? Would they be, for those not married?

Do you and your husband agree on political views for the most part or are there huge differences?

If politics are being discussed at home or with guests, do you speak up or is it mostly guy talk and you swap recipes with the other ladies?

It’s a turnoff if he doesn’t hold his own political beliefs. Dude should show interest in matters relating to national defence including politics surrounding it. That’s about as much thought as I’d give this topic.
