Thats one aspect and the other is raising militias now to fight their war in FATA and Balochistan. The points that you have made apply to them as well. Tomorrow when Pakistani government stops funding/supporting them, what will these people do? These militias are from the people whom they are fighting, so they will keep fighting each other for a long time to come. Militias raised by Americans have already failed as evident from the current situation of Iraq.
