I have said this long time ago. CJ has wasted his and others time and government money on this nonsense. No other issue he has decided yet. AP would have attached this video in praise of CJ:biggthumb:

If the CJ had taken action earlier than we would be moaning that The Supreme Court was derailing democracy. I think the SC gave the system a chance.

On a serous note, you mean courts should convict only who can not hire lawyers with an ability to waste court's time or against executives who know how to nullify a conviction.

**He had already taken action against PPP. He sent one PM home belonging to PPP perhaps ready to repeat the same decision for present PM. CJ is sitting on two very important cases for a very long time and adjourning them for no reason at all. One is missing persons' case and other is bribing by ISI to anti-PPP mainstream political parties and ethnic parties.
Appointing Shoaib Suddle (ghar ka bhedi) as enquiry official just save his son from any punishment is another blunder he had committed and degrade Supreme Court and position of Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Naek submits Swiss letter draft in SC
ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Farooq H Naek submitted the draft of the letter to be written to the Swiss authorities, along with an authority letter on behalf of Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Followed by the submission, a five-member judicial bench of the Supreme Court had started reviewing the draft.
The law minister was called inside the court chamber for consultation.
Naek requested the court to adjourn the hearing till tomorrow, which was accepted by the court.
The judicial bench reviewed the letter and raised some objections, which were not disclosed as the case was heard in chambers, not in an open court.
Naek was briefed about the objections and was given a brief respite to sort them out.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa directed the law minister to mention the reference of Qayum’s letter which requested the shelving of graft cases
The bench also told Naek that the letter will be sent off to the attorney general of Geneva.
Prepared by Law Minister Farooq Naek in consultation with government counsel Waseem Sajjad, the draft seeks the withdrawal of letters written back in May 22, 2008 – by the then attorney general Malik Qayum – who had communicated to Swiss authorities that Pakistan was no longer interested in pursuing graft charges against President Asif Ali Zardari and his late wife, former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
At the end, it all seems so easy — a letter to withdraw an earlier letter. But if it was so easy, why the government made a mountain out of a molehill? Let us see if the drama has more twists or is it really going to conclude finally.

isay kehtay hain khoda paharh nikla chooha. It is high time that government should calculate the government money used on this useless adventure by former CJ and his chamchay and get the amount back with interest in the government treasury.
