thank you all for your prayers.
I believe very strongly in the power of dua and I'm sure that Allah will listen when so many reach out to Him iA.

doctors have found a cluster of blood vessels on the brain that are the cause of these seizures.
they have determined that the condition is treatable but the final recommendation on whether they will perform surgery or not has not been advised.

his age and his otherwise healthy condition is conducive to recovery.......but this has taken all of us quite by surprise since we have no history in the family of such conditions. I guess it is another learning process.

again.....thank you for your duas......I will update everyone as soon as I know more.
