Icon, I'm wondering too about the tests that are being done and what may be wrong...I have a son who was "FTT - failure to thrive" for most of his first 4 years of life. I have read endlessly on the topic and have faced many things with my eldest....please feel free to pm me. My heart goes out to you and your family and I pray that all will be well with the little one.

Thanx Mamaof3. Actually during the tests for FTT (though he is getting out it albeit slowly) we have discovered some other abnormal tests and its these tests that we trying to find the reason for.
Since i am a physician also, this gives an added anxiety coz, i know the possibilities and the outcomes related to them.

May you find the strength to perservere Icon. It isnt easy but never never give up! I found so many countless times that perserverance often does far more than the best doc you can find. Hang tough and your little one will thrive inshallah.
