One does not have to be physically present in this day and age to talk to someone or persuade. Its not medieval time. Your argument is flawed in this regard.
Totally agree !!!. I had one question though. What was your PM doing in Washington at that point in time. Maybe he was afraid that India would bomb Pakistan and he wanted to be in a safe place.
