what i gave my mother for mother’s day.

My parents live with me and i take care of my parents like any dutiful son would. At my place its mother’s day everyday. At my place its father’s day everyday. I do more for my parents everyday than what any of you media driven corporate hyped kids think of doing only ONE day in the whole firetrucking year.

So please. Stop trying to make me dig deeper in my pockets and spend on this day just so Hallmark’s stock can go up.

I 120% agree with you in this matter, we never celebrated all these mother’s n father’s day back home ever, I mean wat’s the point in celebrating only a single day when u r showered with their blessingz n prayers every day.
BUT
this year was the 1st one when i was so faaaaaaaaaaar frm mama, for the 1st time ever in my whole life i did sent her flowerz n card n her favourite perfume n did called n talked to her for a full hour n for the first time ever in my life missed her like hell
may b it just depends on n individual’s perception how one takes it. some times some of the people get involved so much in their daily life routines that they forget abt the other important people around them, as a perfect human being we take every thing n every one for granted. During these times these so called mother n father days do provide a reminder abt the most cherished gifts of our lives.
