(the only reason i'm rooting for philly is because if chicago wins, toronto's going to have the longest run without winning the stanley cup :p)

It was a great game! Congrats to the Blackhawks for winning..they deserved it!
And yeah, I didn't even realize it was a goal..and I'm like what's Kane throwing off all his gear and skating down the ice with his arms in the air for? :p But that bugger of a puck slipped right through Leighton's legs.

Yea Smilestar....it was an awesome game...they def. deserved it...I loved how Toews was looking for Hossa to pass the cup on to, sooo sweet!!! Man they were so excited and then Bettman had to come and ruin it all..he was getting booed...it was hilarious!! (serves him right!!)
But yea this morning it hit me..that its actually over...no game on friday...how depressing!! But at least I can go back to supporting my team...I really missed them, and I know they missed me lol!
and there is still the NHL awards end of June to look forward to...so we can see all the hockey players all dressed up and looking fine ;) ...with the exception of some missing teeth :P

LOL! That's true. There is one thing to look forward to. Although, there are times when you can't figure who is who cause they've got their teeth in, are clean-shaven (finally!), and are wearing suits :p

lol!! I know what you mean man...its soo weird to see them without their jerseys....they actually look approchable!!! I'm excited!!! I hope the Vezina goes to Miller (Kipper will get it next yr..Inshallah) and I hope Oveckin wins the HART third yr in a row :D ..if Henrick wins it...ufff....

X2 - post pics please! i was gonna say that it’ll be the closest i get to the Cup, but I just remembered that they had brought it to my work a few years back, and I got to touch it, and take pictures with it, which was quite surreal 
but it’s always nice to see it again!

Well the FI that I work for recently became the sponsor for the NHL. so when that was announced a few years back, they brought it to us. and it wasn't the replica either. it was the real thing! :D
..and i still need to visit the hockey hall of fame :(
