Places that are worth seeing: majority of the malls are worth going to such as emirates mall, dubai mall, festival city etc. Emirates mall has ski dubai which I havent personally been to however it looks great.
Im someone who loves the building and the scenery so I loved going to dubai marina which is beautiful at night. Theres a lot of restaurants and you can jump on a boat and it takes you around the whole marina.
There is the wild wadi water park which is located on Jumeirah beach, opposite the burj al arab, However you might get advised that the water park at the atlantis hotel is much better and bigger. You could always try both.
A must do in Dubai is a desert safari. This is where you go on a four wheel drive in the desert. They usually take you to a camel farm and then you get taken to the camp where you would have a camel ride, sheesha, henna, food and belly dancer. Personally I went on the safari and thought it was great on the four wheel drive however going on the quad bikes was much better.
If you wanted to go clubbing, there is sanctuary nightclub at the atlantis hotel and there is boudoir at dubai marine. There are others but these are the two that I have been to.
I found going to the gold souk was pointless however each to their own.
im sure the burj khalifa is a spot where people would like to go now as well so.........
