may be Bushra Rehman wrote this novel one decade ago when mobile awareness was not so common especially among the villagers

oh ya may be she wrote it long time back. but then sultana apa and noor-ul-huda shah apa should have sat together and adapted the script to modern times or they should have indicated the time period in the drama.
