lol I've only just looked at it properly, and I like it even more. the main bodice is all velvet and there's the chiffon like material giving the volume at the bottom (look at the 3rd pic)

i also like the pyjama (but hate the shoes!)

Just saw a really red velvet anarkali at Ayesha Varsey’s outlet and fell in love with the colour and cut. They did not allow me to take pics.

Has anyone here seen/worn an anarkali/pishwaz made out of cotton/lawn??? I've seen a few pictures of designer lawn modeled as anarkalis but i wonder how it would look in real life?

Does this anarkali looks good only slim ppl? or bit bulky but tall ppl can wear em too.

I am 5,6 mother of two have bit tummy, but really like to wear one on my bro in law's wedding.
I like to wear something that "americandesi" post.

Maroon with high colars.

@sara516: I think anarkali/pishwaz can look good in any material. If I had one, I would have spent hours ironing it out.

@albeli: the one you want is not too fitted on the top so I think this is the right anarkali suit for you. It’ll hide the unflattering tummy and you’ll look gorgeous in it with your height. Wear a corset underneath if you are really bothered about your tummy. I just love the one you want.
