Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

Just a question. With Elizabeth on that deserted Island

How is she going to survive there?

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

lol i don't think she's lives on that island. it's more of a rendevous spot for both of them. besides...she raised a kid, so i think she was able to do it somehow :p

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world’s End

Unfortunately, I agree with all the bad/mediocre reviews the movie got. It dragged on way too long. It wasn’t as witty as the first two movies and a lot of it made no sense, i.e. how Elizabeth said goodbye to everybody on the ship and was left on an island where she will only see Will once every 10 years? What?! How will she got off whenever everybody has pretty much left her? Also, I expected a lot more from Calypso.

For me, Barbosa stole the show, which is a shame considering the first two movies rocked primarily cause of Jack Sparrow.

Edit: Spiderman 3 was a lot better :snooty:

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

So if I don't want to watch the 2nd one, would the 3rd one still make sense??

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

^^ nope.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world’s End

ahem… “keep telling yourself that darling”

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

Rukhsar lol - I watched the 2nd one in the theatre and had forgotten the storyline completely, and I didn't enjoy it as much. So right now, I've finished watching POC1 and am watching POC2, and then this weekend it'll be POC3!

shweets - are there any spoilers in this thread, so I could put a spoiler alert in the title of thread? I haven't read all the replies cuz I haven't seen it yet :P

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

^^ yeah there are a few spoilers.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

1 was good. 2 was even better. 3 is a shame. I went to sleep watching the thrid one last weekend. The last 45 minutes are good though.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End

I still have not been able to catch hold of a good quality version of part 2. All I have around me are cinema recorded pirated copies.

Of course I am going to see a pirated part 2, but still looking for a good quality print from somewhere to bump in. I just am too lazy to go out specifically to buy a movie.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

Ah the expectations I had: SKY high
Must say I was left wanting more, dissapointment was what I experienced, although the movie did have some brilliant scene like the upside down scene and the water falin due o gravity: INSANE
Overall was expectin more

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

It was a fantastic installment.

I always thought that they only intended to make three installments and thats it but obviously there is more the way they ended this part. This one was a lot more interesting than potc2. Storyline was brilliant, acting was superb and the direction was top notch.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

found the movie to be boring and needlessly long compared to potc2. and i hope they dont drag the same storyline again, if they intend to make a part 4.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

watch it online in google type in watch pirates of the carribean 3 online
and i think its the second link :-)

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

Wait till the end of credits?! Ugh!

Can't believe while leaving I said "what if there's something after the credits?" We brushed off the thought and left. So what happens after the credits? This always happens to me. Serves me right for being so impatient. :-\

The movie itself was alright. It seemed a bit overdone, but it was still worth it. I liked the first one the best.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's End - spoiler alert!!

^lol

After the credits, Elizabeth is with a young boy (her son) going towards the ocean waiting for Orlando Bloom to come back after 10 years, presumably for one day as per the curse.
