aww sgc thank yoU! i hope it all looks good on the day of. actually iwas really unhappy with my wedding invites it wa sa big fiasco and what they sent wasnt what i really wanted it looked tooo indian ill show you ina bit. for favors we went to this really amazing bakery that we are getting our cake from they have the most beautiful/elegant chocolates and marzipan so we are getting their mini gold favore boxes with a ribbon tied on them having me and my fiances name and our wedding date and inside will be a chocolate or marzipan
hrm… i’d go with the top one, since the bottom one seems a bit off to me- it doesnt seem very put-together, if you know what i mean?
what flowers are you using in your centrepieces and bouquet? i think the top cake would look gorgeous with a mix of magenta cymbidium and dendrobium orchids.
im also biased toward square cakes- i find them a lot more contemporary than the round ones usually but that may be cos i chose a square cake for our wedding
if you’re going with roses, i LOVE this cake… its so beautiful and the tone on tone roses just add to its beauty, i think. it also looks gorgeous as a round cake, plus the ivory matches your linens and instead of red roses within the cake, you could place a whole bunch of red roses around it for some extra oomph.
