**in old days when train coaches were NOT interconnected, the servers used to move food to the front and rear of the train this way…the dining car/pantry car/kitchen used to be in the centre of the train. isn’t it amazing how they passed on trays of tea from one coach to the other. it was so much labour intensive ![]()
