Thanks for posting rest of the bombs pics, did any of the 7/7 bombs have shrapnel? I guess not. BTW, why did they give statement of these bombs having similarity to those on 7/7?
Not really, given the second wave of attacks. The theory the police are working on (trying to prove or disprove) is that the car and one or more apartments were akin to ammunition depots and that the bombings were planned as waves of bombings. Group one blows themselves up and group two goes to the “depot” to collect their munitions for their mission. Followed by group 3.
Inasmuch as their were two bombings on different dates with a similar MO, it’s a pretty good working theory. The cops are sort of frantic trying to get in front of this investigation because they want to prevent and/or disrupt the planned future attacks.
