This is my alma mater.........Army Burn Hall College in abbottabad. It was truly a great experience being an alumni of such a great institution...and an honor and a privilage to be among some of the greates teachers of pakistan.....who defied all norms at the time by doing what was very uncommon in teachers at that time........going that extra mile to help a struggling student....not only academically but emotionally.........especially Mr Saleem Durani...my statistics teacher..who even up to this day is still the most influential person in my mind. God bless you sir.
Ofcourse this was 8 years ago and alot has changed since then.....as i found out from my last visit in the summer of 2001....even thought the army is the leading authority.....it has still not stopped alot of great teachers from moving to the private sectors of academic....mainly due to higher salary caps.......therefore resulting in a gradual lowering of quality of atmosphere.
