PIA will be replaced by Indus, I dont know…but a pilgrim lost his life at Jeddah airport while waiting for the PIA flight which was 4 hours late (as usual)…

Returning pilgrim passes away at Jeddah airport

KARACHI: A pilgrim passed away while waiting at Jeddah airport to catch a Karachi-bound flight, Geo News reported Monday. The respective flight is four hours late.

According to airline sources, flight PK- 2010 had to carry pilgrims from Jeddah to Karachi which is delayed by four hours.

The pilgrim who was waiting to reach back home on the same flight passed away while waiting at the Jeddah airport. The late pilgrim was not accompanied by any other family member.

Saudi authorities have taken the dead body into custody and contacted the Pakistan Embassy to make arrangements for sending the body back.

The mentioned hajj flight is expected to land in Karachi at 4.30 pm.

How can a national carrier be replaced by a private entity? :bummer:

Air Indus could be a private firm, but it can never attain position of national carrier for obvious reasons.

To hell with Jiyalas and their so called party. There misdeeds don't give anyone right to make mockery of Sindhis and their language (calling them jaahil and jokers). So give your point of view about corrupt politicians, but don't generalise.

PIA ki waat laga dee hai PPP nai just like Railways. These institutions were always corrupt but were never in the history it was this bad.

Faisla awam ke hath main hain ke quomi idaron ki waat lagane walon ki waat lagate hain ya phir inhi ko 'vote' dete hain. PPP deserves '0' seats in Sindh, if people realise how they are being exploited by these thugs.

As the experience in both India and Pakistan show, the concept of national airline no longer makes sense. They end up getting controlled of politicians and stop running as business enterprises. And they go bankrupt every few years because of that.

They want that zardari should be worshiped and that no one should talk about the ugly damage they are doing to Pakistan because Zardari and co belong to a certain province which automatically makes them above reproach. So my apologies on that !!!!

^ Calm down. People of Sindh are not pro-Zardari, they will go with anyone who assure them employment. You need to put your feet in shoes of poor people, before calling them jahil, joker and making mockery of there culture and language.
