Like Maroush said, men are evolutionarily designed to be physically stronger than women as they were needed to provide food, shelter and protection for their family. While women have evolved to look after the offspring.
I think men are generally stronger because they have evolved to be bigger than women, but pound for pound there's probably not much difference between a man and a woman in terms of strength.

menand women are like car batteries...some have more "juice" in them than the others hence they can start a car or a truck or a jumbo jet...depends what its designed for :)
