that was awesome. maybe you could make the surroundings look a little more darker, that would give it a more (as hin33 called) dramatic look
you can do that by adjusting the aperture and closing it a little more (by giving it a higher value).

say like in my pic aperture was at f / 8.0.

Gizzleyyyyy I finally got a chance to click some pictures but i still couldn’t do what you and Khumar did

I get it either too dark or too light

A differernt lamp in home. success finally!

This pic reminds me of the lamp pole in Narnia: The Lion, the witch and the Wardrobe.

I was trying to take the pic of just the flower and have the background black but it turned out to be like this:

This thread totally inspired me! I went around the house the other day capturing the lights.
Here is one:

errm nevermind. The image upload isn't working for me at the moment. It's saying I have invalid characters in my photo...whatever that means.

Will try some other time.

^ Do not include things like *, - ** in name when you save your image and don't forget to save it as JPEG format, it should upload after that

kino: rename the file you are uploading, and remove any extra charachters from the name.
things like: minus sign, space, and other charachters are not allowed.
