Phonology is basically related to the speech sounds…in English language i can have examples like how sounds r produced nd from which part of mouth they r being produced…the manner and place of articulation of sounds is the actual science which is the base of phonological studies…

Quranic Qiraa’at seems another example of phonology, because they teach you Makraj (wherefrom a particular sound comes). They teach Haroof e Ikhfa and Qalqala sounds.
