true that laws like these be stopped because they may get abused...but then again why is it only restircted to muslims stopping all the laws in their countries, while hindus can do godra and pota, america can come up with patriot acts and put hundreds of innocent muslims in jail with a detained indefinitely!!! clause....this kind of thing should be universal....

Homer, by banning such laws Muslim countries could be an example to the rest of the world. Forget about Patriot Act or what Hindus and Israelis do. Let's look at only what we do.

Dear pota or patriotic laws are not against religious minorities. It is for those who are traitors. Now can u live in one country and conspire against it. U have all right in India to tell anything about other relegion. Nobody gets u.
Is it true that in pakistan the minorities are not allowed to vote in general election. Can a Hindu or Christian could become the prime-minister of Pakistan:confused:
the important point is that it is not govt's job to interfere in ppl's religous beliefs.
If someone wants to be last prophet amongst us, he or she can do it. If soemone says Quran is not correct, let there be cicil doscourse and discussion on it. Govt has no right to kill or persecute anyone for challenging a religion or inventing a religion.
And if someone goes violent against a person just because of his religous beliefs, it is govt's duty to protect his rights to live peacefully.
Blashphemey laws deny all such personal rights, and allow govt to monitor a common men's religous thinking and practise.
