Re: personal style…

Shweet, conway and strawberry r gud for impulse buys, which I’m trying to curb. I think it’s better to go to an “expensive” store and get stuff on sale. Just today I bought this black and white shirt from Express that i’ve been eyeing forever  and a pair of jeans, on sale! Right now, i’m at work, so i’m wearing my levis, and uniform yello polo shirt and broken chappals

Re: personal style…

true…express clothes last a very long time…I bought a few shirts three yrs ago and they still look as good as new..!
my strawberry shirts get tattered in a few washes…

Re: personal style…

Express is good for jeans and work-type stuff, u know slacks and blazers. I was never able to fit into their stuff when I was younger :bummer: but now i like it.. i still wud never pay $98 for a kurta though :snooty: Old navy is good for casual stuff, like teeshirts and tank tops and sweats, and for dressy cutesy stuff… thas wat strawberry and conway is for.

Re: personal style.....

lol i saw that dumb $98 kurta......amreekan women are being robbed!
i got MUCH prettier ones from pakistan.... for 200 rupees....hehe

Re: personal style…

I don’t like kurtas period. They’re only good if ur super skinny :bummer:

Re: personal style.....

i dont like the loose cotton ones, but they have really cute chiffon kurtas that fit nice in pakistan these days ....u could try with high heels and jeans....

actually i havent worn the kurtas yet so im not even sure how they look........

P.S. how do u walk with a broken chappal?

Re: personal style.....

Well they're not broken, but the fabric off the top of them is coming apart... they slip off a tad too easy, i think they're stretched out or i just bought a bigger size or sumfin... i got these a yr ago, during my "bum" phase :D

Re: personal style.....

hehe i had a bum phase in my senior yr of college........i knew i was gonna be stuck after graduation wearing work clothes (which I am not since my work ppl r totally cool!), so all i wore was jeans, sneakers and T-shirts with characters on them to school.....lol my classmates thought i was about 16 and a genius to be graduating so early.

Re: personal style.....

My bum phase consisted of flat chappals, jeans and a kurta with a lil bit embroidery... i can't say i've ever ever worn sweats to school :p
