I have never met a hijaban in my entire life. I have seen them but never had a conversation with one as far as I can remember. A woman's hijab will not bother me as long as I dont know her, if I do then I will probably feel awkward around her as I would not know how to correctly behave because after reading all tof he above posts I am not sure what hijabs actually symbolize. If it is piety then my personal opinion is that you dont need a hijab to be pious. To me a woman wearing hijaab is making a statement, I just dont know what.

^^ ashtray it not the hijab its what underneath. Plus you need to go out of your house every now and then to meet with people and see the world. Once you do that you will see pretty little hijaban flashing their mighty selves in yapping all over town. I wanna adopt em all.

most of them are judgemental or really messed up. i try to stay away as from hijabis but there are those who really are nice and wear it for themselves, not to show off. depends on the person really. generally they do tend to have holier than thou attitude.

there are strong stereotypes associated with the hijab. whether they are negative or positive depends what culture the hijab is being viewed in.

oh by the way insecure to me means, showing off a bit too much of ur self to seek attention from others (preferably opposite sex).

I personaly don;t have any "opinion" of hijabans, nor do I have of those wearing a mini. As long as you'e a good person, it all shine through, in your thoughts, words and deeds.

i also said there are those who are not messed up and who wear hijab for truely religious reason n thats it.
the statement was out of experience not merely an observation or generalization.
