after starting with MAC studio fix fluid and dumping it because it’s too orange (even if you have the right shade) and going in a loooong circle i came back to MAC.
but Full Coverage this time. i bought it for my wedding but unlike all the other MAC foundations it doesn’t have that really yellow/orange colour in the NC’s and C’s. i use it with a synthetic flat foundation brush and you can really control the amount of coverage that way. for my wedding, i built up the layers and used it all over face and neck. after that, i’m still using it but with a light layer brushed on both cheeks and chin only. i use powder on top too, to set it and make the whole face look even.
it’s a pro product though. and i never let MA’s help me because they always get it wrong. i always apply a few shades along the jawline and go outside to check them in daylight. if you’re not confident choosing yourself, take a friend who’s opinion you trust.

powder - mac select sheer pressed. a tv make-up artist recommended this to me. it’s great for setting makeup and keeping you looking less shiny. i can’t believe i didn’t find it earlier.
